School Nurse
¡HOLA! Elementary provides a full time certified nursing assistant (CNA) to support the well being of all students. School nurses play a critical role in promoting student health and wellness within the educational setting. They provide a range of services, including health assessments, vision & hearing screenings, medication administration, first aid, and management of chronic health conditions. School nurses also collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to support students’ physical and emotional well-being while in our school setting.
Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS):
MTSS is a framework that provides systematic, data-driven interventions and support to meet the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of all students.
¡HOLA! Elementary has a full MTSS model that consists of three tiers:
Tier 1 (universal support for all students),
Tier 2 (targeted interventions for at-risk students), and
Tier 3 (intensive interventions for students with significant needs).
MTSS supports a growth mindset that early identification of student difficulties and the implementation of evidence-based strategies to support their success.
School Counseling Services:
School counselors will provide academic, career, and social-emotional support to students PreK – Grade 5. They assist with academic support, college and career readiness, and overall general student social and emotional concerns.
We have contracted with Center Stone for other on-site counseling services that are geared toward providing support for personal counseling for more specific needs.
